Two girls squads, two Newcastle divisions
Tyneside Tigers Girls Navy and Newcastle City Girls feature through their recorded games in broader youth competitions.
Tigers’ eight and City’s one-goal margin
Tyneside Tigers Girls Navy beat Wideopen Galacticos 8–3 on Friday 23 October in the FUTSAL Newcastle Winter U11/U12 League. The squad’s recorded female category makes this game eligible for the girls edition, although the competition itself is recorded as male. This is coverage of a girls squad within that broader programme, not evidence of a separate girls-only league.
Newcastle City Girls lost 4–5 against Whitley Bay SC U12 Yellows in the FUTSAL Newcastle Winter U12/U13 Division 2 League on the same evening. City’s recorded female squad category likewise supports its inclusion here. The one-goal final margin is confirmed; the sequence of the goals and individual performances are not part of the available evidence.
These are the two verified games involving recorded female youth squads in this reporting week’s published England ledger. The shorter edition reflects that limited evidence. Other girls events, including Sport80 listings without dated final scores, have not been turned into results. The linked records preserve the exact participants, scores, competition names and public sources, without identifying children.
This England issue covers verified published results for 19–25 October, including all ten completed TFC U16 Cup matches recorded on FutsalIndex and the source-checked FA, NFL and Newcastle programme. Tournament tie-break winners are separate from drawn match scores. Comeback descriptions use complete goal sequences that reconcile to the final score. Bristol’s current public outcome totals reconciled with no new numeric scores; scoreless walkovers remain held. Some other saved sources were inaccessible or lacked dated, resolved final scores. Girls coverage includes recorded female squads in broader youth divisions. Coverage remains partial.
