THE GAME. EVERY LEVEL. YOUR TEAMS.
One-goal cup wins and a busy youth weekend.
Tiki Taca’s narrow cup victories, Herts U9 contrasts and three NFL scorelines shape a week with room for more than the headline divisions.
Small margins, substantial stories
Tiki Taca Futsal Club’s Saturday in the Youth Futsal League Year End Cup supplied two of the week’s closest results. They beat Bishop Stortford Futsal Club 2–1 and Holmer Green Hawks-Green 1–0 in U14/U15 Premier Group 1. Bishop Stortford and the Green squad also drew 2–2. These are individual results from a mixed youth division, not evidence for a wider league position.
A one-goal margin appeared twice in Sunday’s Herts U9 programme too. UPP U9s beat Sala Futsal Club Aztecs U9s 3–2, while Sala Futsal Club Milano U9s won 5–4 against Inter Stevenage U9s. Both Sala squads deserve their own identity: the scores belong to separate teams.
Herts offers a different scale
Beds Elite U9s recorded an 11–0 result against Stotfold Juniors U9s Purples and a 5–1 win over Stevenage Futsal - Club De Futbol U9s. The largest margin sits alongside a level game: Stevenage Futsal U9s and Welwyn Garden City Youth U9s finished 2–2. The two Stevenage squad names must not be collapsed into one record.
Friday’s Newcastle thread
Montagu Bianco’s 7–6 win over Montagu Whites gave Newcastle’s U12/U13 Division 1 a thirteen-goal, one-goal-margin result. In the broader U11/U12 league, the recorded girls’ squad Tyneside Tigers Whites beat New Fordley Blues 10–4. That fixture belongs in the overall youth picture and the girls’ edition, with its mixed-division context made explicit.
The qualifiers carry the adult page
On Sunday, Leicester Senior Men beat University of Nottingham Senior Men 13–4 in the NFL North Midland Qualifiers. East Riding B won 10–4 against Derby Deaf in North Qualifiers Cup Group A; Volta beat SS Elite Surrey 15–10 in South East Qualifiers Cup Group 2. These separate competitions provide this week’s three published adult men’s games.
The issue draws from 31 games dated 5–11 October: three adult men’s and 28 youth fixtures. Four youth games involve squads recorded as female; they are part of those 28, not four extra fixtures. No adult women’s game was publishable in this week’s ledger. Missing or unresolved records remain coverage gaps, not invented results.
Based on 31 verified, published games dated 5–11 October in Europe/London. Coverage is partial: three Newcastle fixtures await squad resolution; Kent women’s and AoC competition/squad integration is pending; Nxt Gen fixtures lack final scores. Other restricted, undated or unsupported organiser sources remain coverage gaps. Registration listings are not results.
