ALL ENGLAND / THE WEEK IN FUTSAL

Big numbers, fine margins: a week beyond the headline tier

A nine-all draw in the South West, Sala’s Tier 2 victory and a busy Bristol Friday share the page with a one-goal girls result in Newcastle.

Sunday belongs to more than one division

Wessex B and Futsal 360 B supplied the most evenly divided adult scoreline of the reporting week: 9–9 in the National Futsal League South West Qualifiers on 18 October. Eighteen goals, with neither side taking a win, makes a useful counterpoint to the larger winning margins elsewhere in Sunday’s ledger.

Farnborough’s 8–6 victory over Dorset was another relatively close qualifier result. Sala, meanwhile, won 11–4 away to West Yorkshire in National Futsal Series Tier 2 North. The adult programme in this issue is not a Tier 1 roundup: these are separate lower-tier and qualifier competitions, and their results deserve space on their own terms.

Bristol’s separate games matter

Friday’s Bristol summaries offer a different rhythm. Yate Futsal recorded 5–2 and 6–2 wins over Futsal 360 U15 Purple in U15/16s Green. In Under 11 Gold, Develop beat F360 U10s Purple 1–0, while Bristol Manor Farm U10s A and Develop shared a 2–2 draw in one fixture and Manor Farm won a separate meeting 4–1.

Clevedon United U11s added 8–1 and 11–2 victories over Futsal360 Winterbourne in Under 11 Green. The repeated pairings are distinct, source-identified fixtures, not accidental copies. Scoreless walkovers remain outside the numerical results rather than receiving invented scorelines.

A narrower margin in the North East

Newcastle City Girls beat Tyneside Tigers Girls Blues U13 2–1 in FUTSAL Newcastle’s broader U12/U13 Division 2 competition. Both squads retain their published girls classifications. Elsewhere in Newcastle, Wideopen Galacticos edged Benfield Ballerz 4–3 and WBSC U13 Whites drew 5–5 with Heaton Hawks U13.

These pages draw on 58 verified games dated 12–18 October. The women’s edition has no verified adult score for that window; that is a coverage statement, not a claim that nobody played. Separate editions give the men, boys and girls results more room, with source-linked scores rather than imagined match action.

RESULTS BEHIND THIS STORY

This issue covers 58 verified England-competition games dated 12–18 October in London time. Tuesday’s update published 71 results (including 13 older backfills) and six exact kick-off-time corrections. No adult women’s final is verified in this window. Missing approved squad/edition identities, unscored games, scoreless walkovers, historical source gaps and Sport80 events without published results remain held; coverage is partial.
