The organizer runs the event. FutsalIndex provides the platform.
FutsalIndex does not organize, operate or supervise the physical event. The named organizer provides the event and sells the entry; FutsalIndex provides online tools and optional payment facilitation.
These terms explain FutsalIndex’s role to organizers, clubs, players, parents, guardians and spectators. Read them alongside the named organizer’s event rules and our registration and payment terms. They apply to leagues, tournaments, festivals, cups and associated event-day friendlies listed or managed through FutsalIndex.
Who provides the event
The organizer identified on the event or registration page provides the event and sells the entry. Your event entry contract is with that organizer. FutsalIndex is the platform operated by The Salty Pistachio LTD, registered in England and Wales, company 10788917. Its role is to supply online listing, planning, communication and registration tools and optional payment facilitation for the organizer. Publishing event times or results, processing an entry or facilitating payment does not mean that FutsalIndex operates or supervises the physical event. Using those tools, displaying results or ratings, or approving representative access does not make FutsalIndex the event organizer, venue operator, coach, referee, safeguarding provider or insurer. A listing or access approval is not a safety inspection, accreditation, endorsement or guarantee of the organizer.
The organizer’s responsibilities
The organizer must give accurate event and seller information and a working public support and refund contact. It must arrange and deliver the event, secure the venue and permissions, comply with applicable laws and governing-body requirements, assess risks, provide suitable supervision, competent staff and officials, first aid and emergency arrangements, safeguarding and required checks, accessibility arrangements and suitable insurance. It must set and communicate eligibility and participation rules, obtain necessary permissions and consents, handle incidents and complaints, and explain who is responsible for children at each stage. FutsalIndex does not check or certify that these arrangements are adequate.
Players, parents, guardians and spectators
Sport carries risks, including injury. Before entering, attending or travelling, check the event arrangements, supervision, safeguarding contact, insurance and participation requirements with the organizer. Clubs must share the organizer’s rules and this notice with players and parents or guardians and arrange required permissions. The organizer and relevant clubs, coaches and guardians retain their own legal duties. FutsalIndex does not supervise children, provide medical care or take custody of belongings. Ask the organizer about injuries, misconduct, lost or stolen property and other event incidents. In an emergency, contact the venue’s emergency team or emergency services. Viewing a page or a club representative accepting terms does not waive a player’s, child’s or parent’s legal rights.
Payments go to the organizer
Where online entry payment is offered, Stripe processes a direct charge on the organizer’s connected account. FutsalIndex facilitates that payment and charges the organizer the disclosed platform fee under the payment terms. It does not provide an escrow service, event insurance or a refund guarantee. Payment or confirmation is a record of entry, not a guarantee that the event will happen or be safe. Payments arranged outside the platform are collected, tracked and refunded directly by the organizer; FutsalIndex does not verify their receipt.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
The organizer must disclose clear, fair and lawful entry, withdrawal and cancellation rules before commitment and meet all refund obligations. If it cancels the event, it must refund the full entry price, notify affected clubs and maintain sufficient funds even after payouts. Material changes or a failure to deliver the agreed service may also give rise to refund rights. The organizer must act promptly, track pending or failed refunds and resolve failures. Refunds are funded by the organizer; Stripe and the receiving bank affect processing times. FutsalIndex does not promise that an organizer will deliver an event, remain solvent, issue an owed refund or meet a particular refund date. A refund request is not proof that funds have arrived. Mandatory refund, card dispute and other legal rights remain available; an organizer’s policy cannot override them.
Responsibility for losses
The organizer is responsible for operating the physical event and fulfilling the entry contract. FutsalIndex does not undertake the organizer’s event-delivery, venue, supervision, safety, safeguarding, medical or insurance duties. Those duties remain with the organizer and any other person who has them under applicable law. FutsalIndex does not assume responsibility for the organizer’s acts or omissions, event injuries or illness, lost or stolen belongings, cancellation, non-delivery, travel costs, or the organizer’s unpaid or delayed refunds. A mistake in software, a published timetable, results or payment facilitation does not by itself turn FutsalIndex into the event organizer or transfer the organizer’s duties to it. Any legal responsibility arising independently from FutsalIndex’s own platform services is assessed separately under applicable law and the legal limits below.
Organizer commitments to the platform
An organizer must have authority to use the service, ensure its event and published terms are lawful, and avoid describing FutsalIndex as the event operator, insurer or refund guarantor. It must cooperate with legitimate incident, payment and complaint enquiries and provide evidence of its arrangements when reasonably requested. If acting for a business or organization, the organizer must reimburse FutsalIndex for reasonable, evidenced third-party claims and direct costs caused by that organizer’s unlawful conduct, misrepresentation or material breach of these commitments, only to the extent it caused them. This does not cover FutsalIndex’s own negligence, breach or misconduct, impose obligations on consumers, players or parents, or require payment for an unproven claim without a reasonable opportunity to respond. FutsalIndex must take reasonable steps to reduce loss and cannot bind an organizer to a settlement without its agreement. We may restrict listings or registration tools where there is evidence of misuse or a serious safety or compliance concern; this does not transfer the organizer’s duties to us.
Legal limits on these terms
This section does not make FutsalIndex responsible merely because an incident occurs at an independently organized event. It does not create or admit a duty to organize, supervise or ensure the safety of that event, and is not an admission of negligence, fraud or fault. It preserves legal rights and liabilities only where applicable law requires them to remain available. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury resulting from FutsalIndex’s negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Whether any such liability exists depends on the applicable law and the actual circumstances. The organizer’s event duties remain separate. Mandatory protections in the country applicable to an event or participant continue to apply.
Questions and complaints
Raise event, safety, incident and refund questions with the named organizer. Report concerns about the platform or a listing to hello@futsalindex.com. We will consider issues concerning our own platform service; contacting us does not transfer the organizer’s event duties to us, replace urgent incident reporting or extend legal or payment-dispute deadlines.
Acceptance and records
Organizers accept the current terms when creating or publishing an event and when configuring registration or linking online payments. Club representatives accept them when requesting or accepting entry and again before starting online checkout. We record the account, event or entry, time and terms version. Existing entries retain their accepted fee and organizer cancellation-policy snapshots; a later notice does not retrospectively change those agreements. Public notices inform visitors; merely viewing a page is not recorded as contractual acceptance. The payment terms also apply where registration and payment tools are used.
