YOUTH GIRLS / THE WEEK IN FUTSAL

Tigers Whites’ ten-goal result leads the girls’ page.

Four fixtures involving recorded girls’ squads appear in Newcastle’s broader youth divisions, with one win and three defeats in the verified week.

Whites supply the winning scoreline

TYNESIDE TIG WHITES GIRLS *NEW recorded a 10–4 win against New Fordley Blues on Friday 9 October. The organiser’s score ledger lists New Fordley as the home side, so the match record reads 4–10. The six-goal margin is the largest winning margin for a recorded girls’ squad among this issue’s four eligible fixtures.

The game was part of Newcastle’s combined U11/U12 Winter league, not a girls-only competition. The squad is recorded as female in the published team data. That confirmed category, rather than an assumption drawn from its name, is why the result appears here.

Three further squads in the same Friday picture

Tyneside Tigers Girls Navy lost 6–1 to WIDEOPEN Rockets U11 in that same U11/U12 league. In U12/U13 Division 2, Cramlington Town 2 beat Tyneside Tigers Girls Blues U13 5–1. The younger Tyneside tigers Girls U9 squad’s fixture against Blackfyne Blue U9 finished 3–10 in Newcastle’s combined U9/U10 competition.

These are distinct squads and distinct age-band records. Their scores should not be merged into a single team’s form, and the divisions should not be described as one girls’ league. Reporting the defeats alongside the Whites’ victory keeps the page tied to the whole verified record rather than only the favourable result.

The limits of this week’s evidence

All four games are already included in the broader youth and All England evidence. The girls’ edition gives their confirmed category explicit context; it does not add four new matches to the issue’s total. Other girls’ events and registration listings do not establish completed games, and no players or personal information about children are part of this report.

RESULTS BEHIND THIS STORY
