MEN / THE WEEK IN FUTSAL

Qualifiers and cups take the men’s spotlight.

Leicester, East Riding B and Volta supply three dated NFL results, with separate regional competitions at the centre of this week’s adult men’s page.

Two northern results, two different competitions

Leicester Senior Men beat University of Nottingham Senior Men 13–4 on Sunday 11 October in the National Futsal League North Midland Qualifiers. The nine-goal margin was the largest of the three adult men’s results in this issue’s published ledger. It is a scoreline from a regional qualifier, not a basis for comparing every club in England.

East Riding B Senior Men won 10–4 against Derby Deaf Senior Men on the same day. Their six-goal margin came in North Qualifiers Cup Group A, separate from Leicester’s qualifying division. Keeping those competition identities visible gives the cup teams their own space without suggesting the two results belong to one table.

Twenty-five goals in the South East cup

Volta Senior Men defeated SS Elite Surrey Senior Men 15–10 in South East Qualifiers Cup Group 2. The five-goal winning margin and 25-goal total describe different aspects of the result: it had the highest combined score of this edition’s three matches.

National Futsal Series Tier 1 and Tier 2 sources have no new dated final scores within this reporting week. These three NFL games are the publishable adult men’s evidence for 5–11 October; coverage remains incomplete, rather than proof that no other fixtures took place.

RESULTS BEHIND THIS STORY

Based on 31 verified, published games dated 5–11 October in Europe/London. Coverage is partial: three Newcastle fixtures await squad resolution; Kent women’s and AoC competition/squad integration is pending; Nxt Gen fixtures lack final scores. Other restricted, undated or unsupported organiser sources remain coverage gaps. Registration listings are not results.
