WOMEN / THE WEEK IN FUTSAL

Bucks hit fifteen. Manchester win by one.

Tier 2 takes centre stage, with every one of this week’s six recorded women’s results getting space in the story.

Tier 2 South: Bucks and Maidenhead

Bucks beat Bournemouth Grays 15–3 in Women’s Tier 2 South, the largest winning margin among this week’s six recorded women’s games. Eighteen goals in one fixture make it an obvious headline, but the edition is also a chance to look across the division.

Maidenhead United CT won 6–1 against Wessex Athletic in the other recorded southern result. Between them, Bucks and Maidenhead scored 21 goals and conceded four. The two fixtures bring all four participating Tier 2 South teams into this week’s women’s story.

Tier 2 North: the closer contest

Manchester beat Derby 2–1 in Tier 2 North. It was the narrowest margin in the women’s results recorded for the reporting week, and a counterpoint to the bigger totals elsewhere. Manchester’s one-goal win earns a place beside Bucks’ fifteen-goal tally in this edition’s selected scores.

Project Futsal Liverpool defeated Bootham York 5–2 in the other recorded northern fixture. Together, these games give the northern division two distinct results to follow, with all four teams appearing in the edition.

Tier 1: Rise and Southampton score freely

Rise won 10–1 against MK Mavericks in Women’s Tier 1, while Southampton Aztecs beat London Genesis 9–1. Both winners recorded emphatic scorelines, with the opponents also included in the score links below.

This women’s edition covers adult teams only. Girls’ youth teams have a separate edition, including squads playing in broader youth divisions. The articles reflect the games we can verify for 28 September to 4 October; they do not imply that these six results are every women’s fixture played in England.
