Genesis edge East Riding; Tier 2 and the NFL bring the goals.

Tier 1: a one-goal difference

London Genesis beat East Riding 6–5 in the closest of the three Men’s Tier 1 results recorded for this reporting week. Maidenhead United CT defeated Bolton 5–3, and MK Mavericks recorded a 5–0 result against Liverpool. Three different winners, and three different margins, give the top division its own set of results to follow.

Tier 2: Sunderland’s narrow win, York’s thirteen

Team Sunderland won 4–3 against West Yorkshire in Tier 2 North. Alongside that one-goal margin, York Vikings beat Rochdale 13–3 and Hull Eagles defeated Bolton Development 11–3. Athletico City’s 9–6 victory over Birmingham WLV completes the four recorded northern results.

Tier 2 South had a draw and four winners. West London and London International finished 6–6; Futsal 360 Bristol beat Wessex Athletic 6–4. Braintree won 5–2 against Greenwich, Sporting Club Southend beat Kent United 8–5, and Baku United defeated Newham 7–5. This division supplies plenty of stories without needing a Tier 1 connection.

The qualifier cups deserve a page too

Inspired Tameside’s 19–7 win over Barrow was the biggest goal tally in the recorded men’s results this week. Cambridge and MK Mavericks B drew 4–4 in the same North Qualifiers Cup, while Leicester beat Bucks 6–4.

In the South West Qualifiers Cup, Futsal 360 B beat Maidenhead B 5–4 and Tiki Taca drew 7–7 with Wessex B. Braintree B also won 6–4 against Volta in the East Qualifiers. Across the full men’s selection there are 23 games: twelve National Futsal Series results and eleven National Futsal League results. These include qualifiers and cup fixtures, so we retain their competition names rather than assigning them an unsupported tier.
