Nine-all in the South West; Sala make their Tier 2 mark
The men’s week ranges from Wessex B’s draw with Futsal 360 B to qualifier and cup wins for less frequently featured squads.
A draw and a two-goal decision
The National Futsal League South West Qualifiers delivered an unusual balance on 18 October: Wessex B Senior Men 9, Futsal 360 B Senior Men 9. It is the only draw among the nine verified adult men’s results in this reporting window. The published score establishes the outcome, but not who led or how either team recovered, so the story stops short of supplying a comeback that the source does not describe.
In the South Qualifiers, Farnborough beat Dorset 8–6. Southampton Aztecs also won in that competition, 7–3 against Portsmouth & Southsea. Those results belong to the qualifiers, not to a combined national table; this edition makes no claim about their effect on positions or promotion.
Sala, PSA and COPFC on the winning side
Sala’s visit to West Yorkshire produced an 11–4 win in National Futsal Series Men’s Tier 2 North. A seven-goal difference is the verified headline there, with the FA fixture carrying an 18 October date and a 13:25 London kick-off. It brings Tier 2 into a week with no newly verified Tier 1 score in the reporting window.
The NFL’s North Midland Qualifiers supplied Worcester 4–10 PSA. In the South Midland Qualifiers, COPFC — shown as City Of Peterborough on the organiser’s public scoreboard — won 15–7 at Cambridge. SS Elite Surrey added a 7–4 victory over Newham B in the South East Qualifiers.
Development and cup coverage
Braintree’s Development Squad recorded the largest winning margin in this men’s selection, beating Minds United 21–7 in South East Qualifiers Cup Group 1. Eagle Land, displayed as Eagles Land by the organiser, beat London Galaxy 6–1 in the same group. Keeping the cup label visible matters: neither game is being folded into the separate East or South East league qualifier competitions.
Together, these nine results give reserve, development and qualifier squads the same source-linked treatment as the national-series game. They are a report of published finals, not a reconstruction of unreported passages of play.
This issue covers 58 verified England-competition games dated 12–18 October in London time. Tuesday’s update published 71 results (including 13 older backfills) and six exact kick-off-time corrections. No adult women’s final is verified in this window. Missing approved squad/edition identities, unscored games, scoreless walkovers, historical source gaps and Sport80 events without published results remain held; coverage is partial.
